School is starting! I hope you are all as excited about it as I am. I have a few pieces of info for you as we look at our first two days back.

Thursday
There will be an all school pep rally tomorrow, August 11th at 8:15. That means that all band kids need to report to the band room at 8:00 amand get your instruments and head to the gym. You will be excused from Bearcat Time. Freshman you will be receiving your chromebooks in BT on Thursday so please make sure you stop by your BT teachers room before or after the pep rally to get your chromebook.

Friday
Our first morning band practice will be FRIDAY at 6:30 am. Please plan to get here between 6:00 and 6:15 a.m. so we can be set up on the field and ready to start at 6:30. You will all be receiving a lanyard and plastic sleave to put your student ID and coordinate sheets in. ALL students will need to bring their student ID’s to morning band on Friday.

Extra Rehearsal
We don’t have school on September 21st – 23rd, however we DO have a football game on the 23rd and Harvest of Harmony the next week. Mr. Mitchell and I are planning to have two extra rehearsals on those days. On 9/21 we will have our regularly scheduled 6:30 ampractice (Mr. Mitchell and I have a staff work day that day) and on 9/23 we will have a 8:00-10:00 am practice at KHS. Please put those in your calender.

Trailer
We are still looking for someone who might have an approximately 26′ trailer that we can use for the marching band season. If you know of someone who would be willing to let us use it please reach out asap!
