Started in 1995 this award seeks to recognize a member of the freshman class who has shown tremendous growth or exceptional talent and commitment to the band at KHS. This award is determined by the band directors and awarded at the end of the year at the annual band banquet. Recipients receive a certificate and their name on a plaque in the band room.
