The meeting was called to order by Past-President Ed Uden.
Welcome to all. Twenty-three members were present.
Reading of Minutes
- The minutes were reviewed. With no additions or corrections noted. A motion to approve was made by Ronda Jaeschke and 2nd by James Friesen, all were in favor.
Treasurer’s Report
- Report reviewed by Shawna Skaggs. Beginning balance $31,100.73. Income: $297.00-bowl game refund; $2,264.24-Bball concessions; Interest checking – $2.92; Interest saving -$ 15.85. Expenses: $6,269.60-Bball-Runza, Caesars, KHS, DmaPs. Student account: $8,342.65. Balance: $27,454.60. There were no questions and the report was filed.
Committee Reports
- Big Band Dance-will be held Friday, April 30th from 7-10pm. Ronda Jaeschke gave the report and reviewed items needed. A sign-up sheet was passed around. The directors are in charge of tickets and posters. Tickets are $10.00. Desserts will remain the same price as last year $3.00 with free refills.
Old Business
- Scholarship application-will be available on the website this week. Applications are due the end of April.
- Computer hard drive-still looking for a used hard drive with 2 GHz capacity. This would be used for e-mail communication and storage of documents. Please contact Ed Uden if you have or know of one that might be available.
- Cruise Night sign-up-will be held at the May meeting.
New Business
- Band Banquet-will be held Saturday, May 8th @ 6:00 pm. Invitations are being mailed or handed out. Volunteers will be needed to help set up and decorate at 1:00 pm. A volunteer is needed to work on the placemats.
- Board Nominations- President-elect and Treasurer-elect positions are open. (Sandy Christensen volunteered for the Treasurer-elect position earlier in the year).
- Senior Flags 2010-2011-Joanie Brooks volunteered to chair.
Director’s Comments
- Mr. Mitchell reviewed future activities. Band Concert: May 6th. Still deciding if small groups will perform. District Music: April 23rd. No large groups this year. The school is allowed 24 entries .The students will be bused.

With no further questions or comments, Ronda Jaeschke made a motion to adjourn, Scott Lentfer 2nd and all approved.
