Call to Order
Meeting called to order at 5:35pm. A motion was made to approve November meeting minutes by Ed Uden second by Doreen Sheen.
President Jennifer Welker introduced the Executive Board.
Treasurer’s Report
Treasurer report by Linda Johnson. Reviewed all transactions through the end of the November. Deposits were $3633.00 Student savings $10, 362.72. Give Where you Live is $1145.00. BMF recap $3347, NSBA recap, still waiting on some ad payments.
Volunteers Needed
Big Band Dance in April. Still need 1 chair and 5 helpers. Concessions – Dec 10th still need closers. It was agreed to let parents work even if already signed up for fall spots. Ushers needed for Dec 13th and 15th concerts. 5 adults – Mr Lefeber asked if you would send out a sign up genius. Concert starts at 7 not 7:30pm.
General Business
January meeting will be an open house. We will have food and it will be a time to socialize and introduce people to all the volunteer opportunities for next year. We are trying to get the cafeteria, otherwise it will be in the band room. Ed will represent pit crew that night. Doreen will represent momfia and uniforms. Marleen will be here to promote scrip.
Directors Comments
Mr Mitchell – Pay attention to pep band schedule. If a student can’t make a game they need to find a sub. Completing nominations for underclassman Honor Band for the state of Nebraska. On January 16th.
Mr Lefeber – Concert coming up Dec 13th and 15th. Students won’t be performing full work yet as the whole thing isn’t finished. In May the entire work will be performed at Musicalla. There will be 250 students on stage and 200 in the choir loft. Doreen mentioned the parking lot will be full due to a basketball game. There will be pep band on the 13th as previously scheduled due to the concert. The website was hacked back in August and has been self destructing ever since. We have the basic plan so the backup didn’t work. It must be redone and rebuilt. We need volunteers to help with it. Mr Lefeber has a friend who can help us get one built for about $1500.00 and then it will cost $100 a month. He will look for additional options over the next month. Doreen made a motion to let the Executive Board move forward on the website for a reasonable amount. The motion was seconded by Alexis McNeal. There was a discussion as it if the KBPA has the funds to pay for the website. The treasurer commented that we still had to pay for the carts and flag base. Jeff Stelling said he would help us make some carts for uniforms. Mr Lefeber said he may have some funds to help with the expense. Alexis seconded the amended motion. All were in favor.
Donations of food are welcome for the social.
UNK concessions $33.00 for each time worked. There were 3 spots open for KHS concessions on December 10th.

Ed Uden made a motion to adjourn meeting. Eva Linn second. Meeting was adjourned at 6:15pm.
