Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:35 pm by President Eva Linn. Ed Uden motioned approval of last month minutes, Kersten Schroeder second.
Treasurer’s Report
Leah gave financial report.
- Savings – $15,316.18
- Checking – $30,402.41
- Scrip – $383.20
General Business
Another Branson trip payment was made. Branson trip last payment is due April 23rd. There are 91 kids and 16 adults going on trip.
Board member positions that are being sought: President Elect, Treasurer Elect and Momfia leaders. Please let any board member know of interests. Nominees will be announced and voted into office in May.
April 6th Big Band Dance will have a ice cream sundaes served volunteers are needed. T-shirts will be sold at the dance.
April 21st District Music Contest is at Kearney High School this year. We are needing volunteers to help throughout the day doing numerous tasks.
Director’s Comments
Mr. Mitchell announced the new principal for KHS – Mr. Christopher Loofe. Productless Fundraiser was reviewed. Anyone may donated money to the band without having to receive a product. This fundraiser goes until April 24th. Click on this link to donate – KPS Foundation Giving Page.
Mr. LeFeber shared that the band is wanting to plant a tree in honor of Mrs. Bean and family at Baldwin Park. Cost is $300.00 if wishing to donate please contact the music instructors. Shelving is tabled until next year. NSBA will be at Kearney this fall. Mikayla Richmond and Erica Krull will be co-chairing this event. Next years marching band theme is Pirates.

Ed Uden motioned to adjourn the meeting and Kersten Schroeder second. Meeting was adjourned. Next meeting is May 1st at 6:30 pm.
