Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Lisa Parish.
Financial Report
- Savings = $41,823.87
- Checking = $30,165.24
- Scrip = $510.41
Andy gave a financial report and commented that all advertisement fees from NSBA have been turned in. Sharon Johnson motioned to approve the Treasurer report and Julie F. seconds, all were in favor, motioned passed.
Approval of Minutes
Approval of November meeting minutes was motioned by Andy and second by Corrinne, all were in favor.
General Informations
- Uniforms are to be cleaned and returned by December 12th. Students in Honor Bands will turn theirs in later.
Fundraising
- Scrip – Robyn gave an overview of how scrip works. Marlene Hanson is in charge of it. Amazon Smile.com is another way for band to give to the band.
- Concessions dates are January 5, 22, March 19, April 8, and 22nd.

- Big Band Dance and Co-chair (4/5)
- Underclassmen Honor Band (1/21)
Directors Comments
Mr. LeFeber – All State Honor Band had 6 students attend this year.
- The Germany trip has 97 students/adults attending. (65 students and 32 adults) A total of 105 need to be signed up. He is working on grant applications to help with the costs.
- Harmony Bridge is a way students can perform as chamber groups at nursing homes, etc. They had their first performance at Country House. There was a very good turn out and enjoyed by all.
- Students have a play test for a grade and placement in next terms band.
- Reminder that December 11th and 13th are KHS music concerts starting at 7:30 pm. These concerts include the choir, orchestra and bands. Each night is a different performance. If students are not playing on one night concert they can use this as a concert review.
Adjournment
With no other business to conduct, there was a motion by Andy and second by Abe to adjourn. All were in favor, motion carried. Next meeting is January 8th at 6:30 in the band room.
