Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:34 pm by President Eva Linn. Ed Uden motioned approval of last month minutes, Heather Schilke second.
Treasurer’s Report
Andy Donovan gave financial report.
- Savings – $17,743.63
- Checking – $36,482.34
- Scrip – $613.61
General Business
- Scrip – is purchasing gift cards and money value is given back to the band. More information can be found on kearneybands.org/. A step by step guide is available to help you sign up. Anyone can use this.
- When using AmazonSmile.com a percentage will go to the band.
- Branson trip next payment is due March 16th (balance of trip).
- Senior flags are hanging in the gym during basketball games.
- February 10th Soup and pie supper raised $800.00.
- Final Branson Trip payment is due March 16th.
- Board member positions that are being sought: President Elect, Treasurer Elect and Momfia leaders. Please let any board member know of interests.
- KBPA is seeking anyone interested in leading the Bearcat Marching Festival and NSBA please contact Eva Linn, or music teachers.
- Mr. LaFeber showed samples of shelving and discussed placement. The project would need $2000.00. Ed Uden motioned to have KBPA pay the shelving. Doreen Sheen second. Voted and passed.
Heather Schilke motioned to pay for bussing to NSBA for choir, band, and orchestra of $1900.00. Eva Linn second. Voted and passed.
Discussion on new keyboard instruments: Vibraphone and Marimba cost $9260.00. Ed Uden motioned to pay. Eva Linn second. Voted and passed.
Senior band members scholarship applications are due March 26th.
KBPA are lifetime members of the KHS Booster Club. If interested in attending contact Eva Linn.

Also check the band website kearneybands.org/ for the latest news. The Quarternotes, handbooks, and contact info are all on the website. Make sure you are receiving information so there are no surprises.
