Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Lisa Parish.
Financial Report
- Savings = $70,960.59
- Checking = $29,161.29
- Scrip = $582.75
Corrine gave financial report Bodie motioned to approve the Financial report and Anna second, all were in favor, motioned passed.
Approval of Minutes
Approval of January meeting minutes was motioned by Ed and second by Sharon, all were in favor.
General Informations
- Uniforms are still needing turned in. Students in Honor Bands need to turn uniforms in.
Band Banquet
Barb & Ed Uden are working on finalizing details. The theme is Pirates. If anyone has any pirate decorations to donate please contact Barb or Ed.
Big Band Dance

Fundraisers
- Concessions dates are March 19, April 8, and 22nd. Look in SignUp Genius
- No Dough – March 4th to April 5th donation will be on webpage and information advertised on business cards and on the Big Band Dance tickets.
Directors Comments
Mr. Mitchell – Honor Band finishing up, Underclassman Honor Band had 178 participants. Thanks to everyone that helped. Kearney High had 25 participants.
Mr. LeFeber – Drumset platforms arrived. Elizabeth Elliott Consortium – Elizabeth Elliott is wanting a song written about losing a child. Schools/artist donate to have the music piece written. It will show who donated to the writing the music and they will have a copy of the music to perform. Ed motioned to donate $400.00 to support the consortium, Robyn second the motion. All were in favor. Mr. LeFeber conducted a concert at the Sandhills Public School. He was very appreciative of the KBPA. He attended the Ohio Music Educators Conference and talked about Harmony Bridge and what Nebraska bands are doing. March 14th is the band and orchestra concert. March 11th the US Air Force Band will perform. Information will be sent out about the Greeley Jazz trip. 2020 Band trip still has room for participants.
Adjournment
With no other business to conduct, there was a motion by Ed and second by Corrine to adjourn. All were in favor, motion carried. Next meeting is March 5th at 6:30 in the band room.
