Call to Order
The meeting was called to order at 6:30 pm by Lisa Parish.
Financial Report
- Savings = $119,699.99
- Checking = $30,399.25
- Scrip = $605.30
Andy gave the financial report Bodie motioned to approve the Financial report and Tisha second, all were in favor, motioned passed.
Approval of Minutes
Secretary minutes reviewed with no corrections. Sharon motioned approval of secretary minutes. Cheryl seconded the motion. All were in favor.
General Information
- Senior Flags need returned to director’s office before Saturday, May 11th.
- Scholarship Recipients – are announced at the Band Banquet on May 11th.
- German Trip Update. There are 100 people attending.
- Recognition for outgoing Executive Board members

Band Banquet
Barb & Ed Uden are working on finalizing details. The theme is Pirates. If anyone has any pirate decorations to donate, please contact Barb or Ed. Banquet is May 11th. Everyone is to make a meat dish, people last name begin with A-L bring a side dish and M-Z bring a dessert. Set up for banquet starts at 2:00 pm.
Fundraisers
- No Dough – raised $3,632.35. KBPA will pay for the fee applied to have fundraiser. The students’ money will be transferred to Charms.
Directors Comments
Mr. Mitchell – Thanked the parents for their support with the band activities and fundraising. Kearney Concert Association holds six concerts. Tickets are $25 for students for all six concerts and $50 for adults.
Mr. LeFeber – Band concert May 10th at 7:30pm. KHS Quarter notes are sent out with band student information of band camps, uniform policy, programs and marching dates. Instrumental fees are due. We will have 190 students in band next year.
It was asked to purchase/build a percussion rack. Ed motioned to grant request, Andy approved. All were in favor.
Adjournment
Ed motioned to adjorn meeting and Bodie second. Motioned passed meeting adjourned until 2019 to 2020 school year.
