Vote/Approved Tisha Thacker as Secretary. Motion by Ed, Second by Heather Shilke. Motion passed.
2. Approval of Minutes
Approval of Minutes from last meeting. Motion by Harre, Second by Bodie. Motion passed.

- General Fund 26,004.66 as of Sept. 1
- Script 510.05
- Savings 167,816.42
- Color Guard 720.73
- Accounts have been balanced from last year to this year.
- Student Accounts
- Must be used for student band expenses.
- Student account balances were sent out but did not include a few last-minute deposits. They are up to date now.
- Must request that funds are transferred to be used toward the trip or other expenses.
- Pay Pal charges fees for trip payments and they will be deducted from your trip account.
- Can have students deposit payments in box in classroom. Transfer forms are available there also.
4. Committee Reports
- Pit Crew (Ed Uden) – Ed said come and get involved. “We move stuff” and could really use more help. Can go to kearneybands.org/ Sign Up Genius to sign up and to get information.
- Uniforms / Roadies (Joni Ruth) – Great first game. If want to help out, go on kearneybands.org/ Sign Up Genius to sign up to help out for Football games and competitions. T-shirt order for Roadies gear due 12th.
- NSBA / Marching Festival (Erika Krull / Mikaela Richmond) – Hosting these events make money for our band, and our kids don’t have to travel. We need volunteers to make this possible. Go to kearneybands.org/ Sign Up Genius to sign up to volunteer. There are many opportunities and if you show up we will tell you what to do. No experience necessary, we will help you out and its fun. Free to get in for volunteer and free lunch 🙂
- Concessions (Angela Wright) – no new updates/dates at bottom of agenda. Sign up at kearneybands.org/ Sign Up Genius
- Stadium Cleanup – Takes the first 10-12 volunteers. Meet underneath stadium and then clean up the stands. Funds earned go to students band account.
5. Volunteers Needed
- Bus Sponsors – 2-3 sponsors per bus: take attendance, band control and sign students out for pick up. Do need to have a background check. Just sign a form and then good for all 4 years. (10-5 Harvest of Harmony, 10-12 LHS, 10-19 LPS)
- Stadium Clean up Chair – Jamie Kramer is now Chair
- Water Coordinator – still need
- Band Banquet Chair – Junior Parent (Spring)
- Big Band Dance Chair – still need
6. Fundraising
- Stadium Clean up
- K Cards – all proceeds go to the students
- Concession (Not Marching Festival or NSBA)
- Spring Fundraiser – TBD
7. Old Business
- Scrip – Gift cards bought through Script and a percentage goes to the band and a percentage to your band students account.
- Amazon smile – A fundraiser for the band. Just sign up and a percentage of what you order on Amazon goes to the band.

Mitchell – Parents, Thanks for being here, we can’t do it without you!! Show Shirt second go around for any kids who missed it or adults. Closes on the 13th.
