4.Committee Reports

Pit Crew – Ed is thankful to everyone who has volunteered. We will now have the new banners for the show so need a few more volunteers. Reminder for NSBA that you can volunteer in other areas and still also volunteer for pit crew.

Uniforms / Roadies Concessions – will be posting dates soon. Will re-evaluate what to do with volunteers for BMF in the future since many who signed up for the first shift were late due to the parade running late. May need to review the menu items and reduce meals since times are not ideal for supper.

Stadium CleanUp – will be making this a chair position moving forward

BMF – Portfolios for each area containing instructions, maps, signs, etc were prepared.  Provided job descriptions for volunteers as well.

NSBA – 10/24 –   122 filled spots with 106 spots left for volunteers. Kearney Alumni will send an email out to the alumni. Volunteer raffle is new this year to encourage volunteer sign up. Winners will be contacted by email. Discussed having students help with cleaning up afterwards by assigning things to each section, could also make it a race/ competition. Will have two photo booths this year, Lora & Sam Littrell will be setting it up, working it, and tearing them down. We will have a new coffee truck from 2pm to 7pm. Senior banners will be hung in the gym. Talk of the Town – Mr. LeFeber will be appearing on the show Tuesday Oct 19th. Volunteer meeting/ training will be at 6pm on Oct 23rd. Students can also work some shifts as long as it doesn’t interfere with practice or last supper.
